Being Anal

There are two states in the US where nobody - not one person - has visited my blog in the last year.

Two.

That rectangular one south of Montana, and Alaska.

Alaska - a huge place, yet not huge enough for just one person to take a peek at my blog.

Thanks guys. I know who I'm voting for. This is more of a kick in the nuts than that awful Dave Stewart song.

Google Analytics can tell us many interesting things, as illustrated above. Unexpectedly, I had 57 visits from Singapore last year, each visit lasting on average 03:06.

Searches leading to my blog are overwhelmingly populated by people researching the source of their nuissance phonecalls.

18 people came here searching for the correct way to pronounce 'scone'. Fine, I'll tell you: "scone". Like that.

14 came looking looking for magnapinnidae, and merely found a fan of magnapinnidae.

9 came looking for poisonous snails. I don't know if such things exist.

3 came looking for the 'lord of sex'. (Hi fans!)

1 came looking for a preponderance of prawns.

I hope none of you were disappointed. A few inquiries, such as "what is the protocol for going to a friends funeral" I simply don't yet have an answer for, but hope to one day.

Not wishing death on anyone though, obviously.
