What When All Your Fields Are Rotten?

Having been working from home this week I've had a newfound industriousness and positivity of outlook. I've been on a ratio of about a poem a day - I haven't actually been writing them when I was supposed to be working, just in case anybody who might sack me is reading this: I rarely write any poetry in daylight hours. But being at home more means I keep my room tidier, which means I keep my brain tidier, which means there's more room in there to bounce off the padded walls.

At my current work rate the whole collection should be done by Christmas, at which point I'll probably be sending folios out to mags, zines, friends, enemies, people of influence, people of affluence, etc. And I will delete them all from here if I can be arsed. I iwll also send an entire bound folio to Faber & Faber, which has always been my intention. Cut out all those fusty middle men. If I take up so much space in their bin, that's good enough for me.

For those of you who jump ship before rather than after the poems, please do check out these two great new blogs by my good friends

Jon P, which has lovely pictures

and

Jamie J, which has... not that much to reccommend it, technically, but give it a shot.
